Retail trade turnover per capita has increased
Retail trade turnover in Uzbekistan in January-July 2018 amounted to 68958.4 billion UZS.
Retail trade turnover in Uzbekistan in January-July 2018 amounted to 68958.4 billion UZS. The turnover of large enterprises amounted to 9036.8 billion UZS (18.5% growth), small businesses – 59916.8 billion UZS (2.2% increase).
In addition to the total turnover of small businesses, sales of goods in associate sales amounted to 8806.6 billion (compared to the same period of the last year 3.9%).
According to the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Statistics, the turnover of retail trade per capita in all regions of the republic increased, compared to the same period of the last year. This indicator, in comparison with other regions, was larger in the city of Tashkent (6311.8 thousand UZS), Navoi (2808.8 thousand UZS) and in Tashkent region (2542.4 thousand UZS) and this can be explained by the location of large trading and industrial enterprises in these regions.
