Retail trade turnover in Uzbekistan has increased by 2,0%

According to the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Statistics, retail trade turnover in January-February this year increased by 2,0% compared to the same period of last year.

According to the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Statistics, retail trade turnover in January-February this year increased by 2,0% compared to the same period of last year.

The share of trade turnover of large enterprises amounted to 13,0%.

The increase in demand for goods such as consumer goods, tobacco products, gasoline and alcoholic beverages led to an increase in the growth rate of large enterprises to the last year by 25,2%. 

Regions with high trade turnover, such as the city, had a positive impact on the increase in retail trade in Tashkent city (21,7%), Tashkent (9,9%), Fergana (8,7%), Andijan (8,4%) and Samarkand (8,2%) regions.
