It has been noted that thanks to attention being given under the leadership of the country’s President to supporting talents and the younger generation’s initiatives and striving towards science, art and sport, Uzbek lads and girls are achieving big successes in these and other spheres.

The Kamolot public youth movement is playing an important role in noble work being carried out on raising young people’s social activeness, in ensuring their participation in the implementation of large-scale reforms in the country and in forming a sense of involvement in the destiny of the homeland.

Kamolot is taking an active part in bringing up the younger generation, engaging them in sports, in the protection of national interests and in creating conditions for the full realization of their intellectual potential.

Various projects are being drawn up for young people’s social activeness, solidarity and initiative. Specifically, in round-table conversations, meetings, contests, training-seminars, job fairs, festivals and sports competitions held this year by Kamlot, nearly 600 thousand lads and girls participated.

Such intellectual games and explanatory and sporting events as “Do you know the law?”, “We, young people are against crime”, “Shuqorlar”, “Young entrepreneurs are the country’s support base”, “Kamalak yolduzlari”, “Student of the year” and “The Kamolot chessboard” help to encourage talents and to realize young people’s aspirations.

During the review period, 12 young entrepreneurs won in the republican stage of the “Young entrepreneurs are the country’s support base” contest, and they were given preferential bank credits amounting to nearly 200 million soms.

At the republican stage of the military sporting competition “Shunqorlar” aimed at the military patriotic education of a physically strong and spiritually developed younger generation, the “Ozbegim oghlonlari” team of the Uchqorghon teaching college and the “Lochinlar” team of the Namangan construction and design college won.

Students of the region, Kumush Khojayeva and Gulirano Vaqqosova became laureates of the Zulfiya state award. Three active members of the Kamolot public youth movement were awarded “Ozbekiston belgisi” badges, and two active members were given state awards.

A youth centre was built in Norin District. In Toraqorghon, Mingbuloq and Uychi Districts, Kamolot houses consisting of 96 apartments were built and given to young families.

“The wide possibilities which have been provided for us encourage us to achieve new victories,” says Kumush Khojayeva, a laureate of the Zulfiya state award and master judo wrestler.

At the conference of the Namangan regional council of the Kamolot public youth movement, the organization’s work for the past two and a half years was analysed, and tasks were set for the future. The Kamolot regional’s council’s chairman and his deputies were elected.
