Hokim of Bakhmal district of Jizzakh region Aziz Ergashev held several substantive negotiations during an official visit to China.

The event, organized in cooperation with the China Chamber of Commerce, was attended by representatives of more than 20 major companies and corporations, including China State Construction Engineering Corporation, COFCO Corporation, China Datang, SPIC, and CPNL. The socio-economic potential of Bakhmal district, its opportunities in agriculture and tourism, and promising investment projects were presented in detail.

During the meetings, discussions focused on the effective use of pasturelands through a scientific approach, the cultivation of high-yield leguminous crops, and the establishment of a corporation to ensure food security.

Specific proposals were also put forward in areas including mineral fertilizer production, the adoption of modern agrotechnologies, digital farming, seed production, livestock breeding, and feed production.

During the negotiations, particular attention was paid to ensuring the district’s sustainable development through the implementation of joint investment projects and the adoption of advanced technologies and best practices. A video presentation on the natural resources, infrastructure, economy, and agriculture of Bakhmal district was also shown to participants.
