During the visit of Fergana region’s delegation to Germany and Austria, 8 investment and export agreements were signed for $238.9 million.
The delegation, consisting of responsible persons of the Hokimiyat and entrepreneurs of the region, led by Fergana region’s Hokim Khayrullo Bozorov, visited Germany and Austria on July 25-30.

Meetings and talks were held with financial institutions, medical, industrial and agricultural state institutions and companies in Germany’s Frankfurt, Nuremberg and Austria’s Micheldorf.
It was noted that based on the current political situation in the world, German entrepreneurs and financial institutions consider Uzbekistan as a potential economic partner.
Within the framework of the working trip, talks were held with the leadership of over 30 companies, 8 contracts were signed for $238.9 million, including 4 investment contracts for $232 million, 3 export contracts for $6.9 million and 1 Cooperation Agreement.
