Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting with a delegation led by the head of the International Monetary Fund Mission to Uzbekistan, Ron van Rooden.

The parties discussed efforts to mitigate the impact of existing global threats on Uzbekistan and ensure the country’s strong, sustainable and inclusive economic growth in the long term.

Important issues related to the fight against corruption, money laundering and terrorist financing were considered. The parties also discussed measures to strengthen international and regional cooperation to strengthen the national system in this area.
