A videoconference chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev continues in Bukhara.
The heads of the energy complex and hokims have been given several tasks to ensure the system’s stable operation.
Instructions were given to produce 30 billion cubic meters of gas and 41 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity in the second half of the year and ensure their uninterrupted supply to consumers; increase reserves in underground gas storage facilities to at least 3.5 billion cubic meters.
The task was set to deliver an additional 35 thousand gas cylinders to the regions, to provide the population and social facilities with 335 thousand tons of liquefied gas in the autumn-winter period.
The need to produce 400,000 tons of gasoline and import 120,000 tons by the end of the year was emphasized.
From today, responsible managers will switch to emergency mode to ensure the stable operation of the energy system in the autumn-winter period.
The management of the energy complex, together with the heads of regions and industries, will take measures to save 3.7 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity and 2.4 billion cubic meters of gas by the end of the year.
The importance of installing another 250 megawatts of solar panels at social facilities, government agencies, and business entities was noted.
The report of hokims of districts and heads of industries was also heard.
