The French company Montagne et Neige Développement (MND) won the tender announced within the framework of the project “Construction of Chimgan Tourist Zone” of the State Unitary Enterprise “Project office for the construction and operation of the International All-Season Resort Beldersay – Chimgan – Nanay”.

During the 9th meeting of Uzbekistan – France Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation, an agreement was signed between the State Unitary Enterprise and MND. An international level complex will be organized, a gondola-type cable car for ten people will be built, which will rise to a height of 2515 meters, and a pendulum-type cable car for 80 people with a rise of 3309 meters. More than 20 types of winter and summer attractions will be organized on the territory of the complex, including XXL Zip Line, Alpine Coaster, Adventure Tower, Tubing, and Via Ferrata. 11 different ski areas with a length of more than 20 meters, a hotel and a cottage for 6,000 people will be built.

This major initiative includes the organization of an all-season resort of international level, a new tourist complex with entertainment attractions, and a cable car. It is also planned to increase the region’s investment attractiveness, develop the tourism infrastructure of Tashkent region, and create conditions for the popularization of mass sports in the country’s mountainous areas.

Most importantly, 451 new jobs will be created here, and over three million visitors will be served annually.
