These days, the cities of Duisburg, Bochum, Essen, Hagen, and Mülheim in Germany’s Rhine-Ruhr region are hosting the participants of the 32nd Summer World University Games.
Today, July 14, a working group from Uzbekistan’s sports delegation departed for Germany.

It is worth noting that this year’s University Games will bring together over 8,500 student-athletes from around 150 countries, who will compete for 234 sets of medals across 18 sports disciplines.
The competitions will take place in 23 sports facilities across six cities.

At the upcoming Games, which will be held from July 16 to 27, Uzbekistan’s athletes will compete in 11 sports: archery, artistic gymnastics, athletics, diving, judo, rhythmic gymnastics, rowing, swimming, table tennis, taekwondo, and tennis.
The official opening ceremony of the Summer World University Games will take place on July 16 at the Schauinsland-Reisen-Arena in Duisburg.
