The 10th meeting of the National Commissions for UNESCO of the member states of the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY) was held in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan.

As part of the forum, a meeting of heads and representatives of the National Commissions for UNESCO was organized. It was attended by a delegation led by the Deputy Secretary General of the National Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan for UNESCO Elmurod Nadjimov.

The head of the Uzbekistan delegation addressed the event participants and thanked them for their active joint contribution to establishing cultural cooperation between countries.

Following his speech, he invited the member countries of TURKSOY to participate in the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference, which will be held in Samarkand in 2025.

The Convention on the Protection of Cultural Heritage of the Turkic World was discussed at the meeting.
