The Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted a workshop with the participation of representatives of the National Bank of Tajikistan.

At the event, representatives of the National Bank of Tajikistan studied the experience of the Central Bank in gender equality and financial inclusion.

The parties exchanged experience on the National Strategy for Increasing the Inclusion of Financial Services in Uzbekistan and its evaluation indicators, the regulatory sandbox, and the development of digital financial services.

The guests were also informed about the participation of the Central Bank in the implementation of the National Strategy for Achieving Gender Equality until 2030 and about programs and initiatives aimed at developing gender diversity in the banking system.
