A virtual meeting took place between representatives of the State Inspectorate for Supervision of the Quality of Education and representatives of the Finnish National Agency for Education (EDUFI).

It was attended by the head of the inspectorate Ulugbek Tashkenbayev, heads of relevant agencies and departments, EDUFI representatives.

The parties exchanged views on the organization of joint workshops and trainings aimed at enhancing collaboration between representatives of the education system of Uzbekistan and Finland. The process of entering the European Higher Education Area by improving the quality and assessment system of education in Uzbekistan, improving the activities of Uzbekistan – Finnish Pedagogical Institute in cooperation with EDUFI and the University of Helsinki were discussed.

Ulugbek Tashkenbayev noted that the recent opening of the Nordic International University in the non-state sector, in which it is planned to teach according to the Finnish methodology, indicates how collaboration is enhancing.
