The delegation of China Nuclear Uranium Co. Ltd. paid a working visit to the state-owned enterprise Navoiuran.

The primary purpose of the visit is to study the process of creating mining technologies at the Jantuar and Madanli black shale uranium deposits.

China Nuclear Uranium is a subsidiary of the China National Nuclear Corporation, which is engaged in the exploration, mining, and processing of uranium, playing an essential role in developing nuclear energy in China. The company owns and operates several uranium deposits in China, including the Ili mine in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, and participates in joint uranium mining projects in Namibia and Kazakhstan.

Specialists visited mining sites and took technological samples to develop a technology for extracting uranium and other rare elements from the ore composition. A discussion took place with the Director General of Navoiuran, Jakhongir Fayzullayev, about black shale uranium mining technologies and further cooperation.
