A meeting of the Central Election Commission took place. At the meeting, the issue of accreditation of media representatives was considered. Information was heard from the chairmen of some district commissions on the preparation and holding of a referendum of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

It was noted that the role of domestic and foreign media is important in the preparation and conduction of the referendum. Therefore, based on the appeals received by the CEC, 22 representatives of domestic and 15 foreign media have passed accreditation. At the moment, the number of accredited representatives of domestic and foreign media is 383 people.

Chairmen of the district commissions informed about the preparation and holding of a referendum of the 5-Navoi, 9-Surkhandarya and 10-Tashkent regions on the activities carried out within their powers. It was noted that preparations for the upcoming important political event are being carried out in a phased manner.

Appropriate decisions were made on all issues considered at the event.
