Reports of Doctor of Philology, Professor, Director of the Russian International Scientific Center “Cultural Heritage of Mongolian People” V.Illarionov’s “Jangarchi-Jangar” (Gatherer-Jangar) – narrator, keeper and popularizer of Kalmyk heroic poems and professor of the Eurasian National University named after L.N.Gumilev (Kazakhstan) S.Ibraeva’s “The artistic and temporal context of the art of dastans in the Turkic epic” aroused great interest among the conference participants.
Scientific report was made by the head of the Research Institute of Oral Literature of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Cultural Studies Ayushjav Alimy, devoted to the analysis of the epos terminology in Mongolian and Uzbek.
