New Resolution.
Most of us are drivers. Sometimes we break the traffic rules because of haste or carelessness. We condemn and do not like those who report violations by photos and videos. In fact, they are right. Because everyone must obey the laws and follow the traffic rules.
With the help of such selfless people, we can keep the ecology clean, and preserve our thousands-year-old cultural heritage buildings.
On 7 April 2022, a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers was adopted “On measures for introduction of modern mechanisms of state environmental control in the field of protection and use of tangible cultural heritage objects”.
According to the Regulations approved by the resolution, the photo and video materials on violations relating to ecology, environmental protection and nature management must be sent to the State Committee for Ecology and Environment Protection through the “Ecocontrol” information system.
In addition, the photo or video materials on the violation of rights to tangible cultural heritage should be sent to the Cultural Heritage Agency through the “Cultural Heritage Control” information system.
The following information should be included in the materials:
committed offence
information about the offender (if any)
name of the cultural heritage object (for the relevant offence)
date, address and the time of the offence.
The received photo and video materials are reviewed within 15 working days and sent to the Ministry of Internal Affairs to identify the violator. The Ministry of Internal Affairs examines the materials, identifies the offender, and within 10 working days sends them to the State Committee for Ecology and Environment Protection or Cultural Heritage Agency.
The persons who submit the photo and video materials depicting violations will be rewarded as follows:
- on illegal cutting, logging, damage, destruction or displacement of trees, shrubs, other plants and seedlings – 1 BCV (270 thousand soums);
- on other offences in the ecology, environmental protection and nature management – in the amount of 15 percent of the fine imposed on the violator;
- on violations in the protection and use of tangible cultural heritage objects – 1 BCV (270 thousand soums).
Protection of the environment and cultural heritage sites is a duty of every citizen. Contribute to this noble cause.
