A training seminar entitled “Social partnership is a guarantee of peace, accord, prosperity and sustainable development” has taken place in Tashkent Region.

The even was held by the public foundation for supporting nongovernmental non-commercial organizations and other institutions of civil society under the Oliy Majlis (parliament) of the Republic of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the public commission for social partnership under the Tashkent Regional council of people’s deputies and the regional department of the independent institute for monitoring civil society formation.

At the event, there was discussion of issues of the further stepping up social partnership in resolving tasks in the socio-economic, socio-political and cultural-humanitarian spheres and providing legal consultations and methodological help for entities of social partnership.

“The law of the Republic of Uzbekistan on social partnership is an important document for working out socio-economic bases for cooperation among bodies of state administration and government, civil society institutions and entities of entrepreneurship and for implementing development programmes,” says the chairman of the public commission for social partnership under the Tashkent Regional council of people’s deputies, H.Ermatov.

There was also discussion about results of the work of the public commission for social partnership under the Tashkent Regional council of people’s deputies over the past period of the year 2016 and tasks for the fourth quarter.

Specialists gave detailed answers to questions from participants in the seminar.
