The Turkic nations, with similar ancient values and traditions, are moving towards mutual solidarity and understanding.

Today, the 6th Meeting of the Ministers and High Officials in Charge of Media and Information and 11th Meeting of the Working Group on Media and Information of the Organization of Turkic States were held in Tashkent.

In addition, the ongoing work on developing a draft agreement that will help create equal conditions for broadcasting national television and radio channels in the territories of the member states was discussed.

The meeting also approved the OTS Action Plan for 2024-2025, which sets out the main areas of cooperation.

Finally, the parties signed the Tashkent Communiqué, which outlines their shared approaches to combating the spread of disinformation and fake news.
