Reinis Trokša: “I congratulate the Uzbekistan people on Independence Day!”
09:00 / 2024-08-30

Festive greetings from the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Latvia to Uzbekistan Reinis Trokša:

– Latvia and Uzbekistan traditionally maintain excellent relations, and our partnership is reaching a new level. Strong ties have been established between our peoples. Today, many Uzbekistan students study in Latvia. Our business also shows great interest in cooperation with Uzbekistan.

We are interested in supporting the reforms initiated by the President of Uzbekistan. We are witnessing the rapid development of various industries and sectors of the country. We love Uzbekistan, which has built a great state and society and ready to help implement new reforms.

We are pleased that cooperation between Latvia and Uzbekistan is expanding. We believe that this interaction will continue to develop. Today, many business delegations visit and actively participate in events organized by Uzbekistan. Businesspeople show great interest in your country’s market and strive to invest in various areas because the world knows that the government has created broad opportunities for entrepreneurship.

Taking this opportunity, I would like to congratulate the Uzbekistan people on the upcoming Independence Day. I wish prosperity, good health, and well-being to the citizens of this hospitable country and further success in its development. We see how many reforms are being implemented. Latvia has a lot to learn from Uzbekistan. We are very pleased with this and appreciate the progress achieved.
