Baku hosted a regional meeting of payment system specialists from the central banks of Azerbaijan and Central Asian countries. Representatives of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan also attended it.

The participants exchanged experiences on payment systems, financial technologies, and cybersecurity.

Employees of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan gave a presentation on “Suptech and Regtech”. The importance of using advanced technologies in increasing the efficiency of the control system and its streamlining was noted. Representatives of Uzbekistan also presented a report on “The Importance of Cybersecurity”.

The event became an essential platform for strengthening cooperation and sharing experiences in developing modern financial technologies in the region.

The participants developed a joint strategy for developing and integrating payment systems and reached an agreement on continuing cooperation on the issue of data exchange between central banks.
