Uzbekistan delegation took part in the meeting of the Regional Coordination Mechanism in labor migration, in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

According to the National Center of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Human Rights, the delegation included the head of the information resource multimedia department of the center Kamila Olimova.

The prospects for the implementation of the IOM Labor Migration Program in Central Asia, funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation were discussed at the meeting.

Views were also exchanged on the need for implementing the project of the Department of Labor Mobility and Social Integration in the region, practical proposals on this matter were developed.

The participants of the meeting of the Regional Coordination Mechanism worked out specific areas of cooperation to improve the management of labor migration, support the mobility of people in the countries of origin and the potential of migrants.
