The 4th meeting of the expert group on renewable energy sources of the member countries of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) was held under the chairmanship of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

At the meeting, ECO Secretary General Khusrav Noziri, Deputy Minister of Energy Sherzod Khodjayev and others emphasized the prospects for the use of renewable sources and cooperation in this area.

ECO Secretary General Khusrav Noziri expressed sincere gratitude to the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan for holding this important event.

Deputy Minister of Energy Sherzod Khodjayev stressed that each country should choose its path of energy transition based on the best world practices. It is also necessary to take into account the importance of a pragmatic energy transition to ensure green growth and decarbonization.

Representatives of the ECO member countries exchanged experiences and outlined ways of further cooperation in renewable energy use.
