Reforms in the education system of Uzbekistan have a positive impact on Central Asia

The first Central Asia Universities Forum was organized by the Ministry of Preschool and School Education and several partner organizations at New Uzbekistan University.

Specialists from Uzbekistan and 20 countries, including the United States, China, Germany, the Republic of Korea, the United Kingdom, Canada, and India, attended the conference.

At the forum, Khilola Umarova, the Minister of Preschool and School Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, spoke in detail about the fundamental positive changes in the country’s education sector.

The forum included open dialogues, roundtable discussions, masterclasses, meetings, and presentations of lectures with the participation of scientists, laureates of international awards, and representatives of leading universities.

New prospects for interaction between universities in the country and foreign universities were identified. The Times Higher Education organization awarded several universities a special award.
