On October 25, an international workshop was held in Tashkent on the project “Real estate registration and cadastral system modernization”.
Objectives of the project, its effectiveness and the achieved results were discussed at the event, organized by the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Land Resources, Geodesy, Cartography and State Cadastre in cooperation with the World Bank.
The workshop was attended by representatives of relevant ministries and agencies, local authorities, public organizations, international financial institutions, domestic banks, insurance companies, notaries, higher education institutions, institutions of geodesy, assessment, real estate companies, home developers.
At the workshop, presentations were held on activities carried out in this area, the results of modernization of the real estate registration system, reports of specialists were heard.
Within the framework of the event, the committee has announced a special competition among journalists in order to widely publicize the essence and significance of the project among the population.
