The delegation led by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Finland to Uzbekistan Ilkka Räisänen visited the Uzbekipaksanoat Association.

The guests got acquainted with the products presented at the Association. Silk fabrics made a great impression on them, testifying to the deep national identity of the Uzbeks.

Representatives of the delegation got acquainted with the stages of development of this sphere in the country. They noted that this area has great potential in the markets of Finland and the Scandinavian countries. On his Twitter page, the Ambassador left a post on the same day: “Uzbekistan produces soft, beautifully flowing natural silk since several millennia. Today 3rd biggest producer in the world”.
