The Ak Ilbirs Film Award took place in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.

The winner of the nomination “Best Actress of Central Asia” was actress Roza Piyazova. She performed her role in the film “Sunday”, filmed by order of the Cinematography Agency under the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Famous director, screenwriter, and cinematographer Elyor Ishmuhamedov was awarded the award “For Outstanding Contribution to World Cinematography”.

Elyor Ishmukhamedov created such films as “Tenderness”, “Farewell, Greens of Summer”, “What Are Our Years”, “Lovers”, “Birds of Our Hopes”, “Lovers 2”, “Shock”, which won the sympathy of hundreds of viewers.

Uzbek Cinema Days were also organized during the International Film Festival in Kyrgyzstan. Within their framework, Kyrgyz viewers watched films created by the order of the Cinematography Agency under the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan – “Abdulla Aripov”, “Fortitude” and “Uzbek”.
