The need for strengthening cooperation with prestigious foreign universities, scientific and innovation centers is noted in the Address to the Oliy Majlis.

A conference “On strengthening cooperation of interested parties for the adoption and implementation of the Convention on the Recognition of Qualifications concerning Higher Education” was held with the participation of experts.

The participants considered the issues of ratification of the Asia-Pacific Regional Convention on the Recognition of Qualifications in Higher Education (Tokyo Convention). A presentation was held of the Tokyo Convention aimed at improving quality and mobility in higher education.

The ratification of the convention will enhance international cooperation, pave the way for providing any information about the Uzbekistan system of higher education by connecting to the network of national information centers, and improve the quality of education. The higher education diploma and its annex will be brought in line with international standards. The authority of Uzbekistan in the world will increase.
