Rashad SHOLAN: “We jointly trained many specialists”

The international event held in Tashkent, dedicated to transforming the healthcare system and developing at the level of modern requirements, was full of discussions.

It was attended by leading experts in healthcare from several countries worldwide, in particular, representatives of international organizations, prestigious clinics, and higher education institutions with leading positions in the world ranking.

“Over the past 6-7 years, all areas in Uzbekistan have undergone a radical development, including the healthcare system”, says Rashad Sholan, Chief Specialist in Kidney Transplantation at the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan. – In particular, several medical centers were opened in your country, where high-tech medical services for kidney transplantation began to be provided to the population. Our ministry has been cooperating with Uzbekistan for two years already. In this short time, we have jointly trained many specialists. For example, at the end of 2022, eight Uzbek doctors improved their qualifications in our country. Now it is planned to create a new center for nephrology and kidney transplantation in Namangan region. Today’s conference is important in resolving current issues in this area.
