Muynak district hosted the opening ceremony of the Uzbekistan Championships “Rally Muynak-2023”.

More than 120 athletes from all regions of the country and the Republic of Kazakhstan are taking part in the competitions organized by the Defense Assistance Organization “Vatanparvar” of the Republic of Uzbekistan together with the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, Jokargy Kenes and the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.

Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan – Minister of Tourism and Cultural Heritage R. Zarikeyev, Director General of the Republican Center for Technical and Applied Sports at DAO “Vatanparvar” A.Kurbaniyazov spoke at the opening of the competition.

After the start, cars with an engine capacity of up to 1600 and 2000 cubic centimeters entered the track. Motorcycle racers on motorcycles with an engine capacity of up to 125 and 500 cubic centimeters showed their skills.

The winners of the tournament will be determined on May 28.
