Tashkent Palace of Culture of Railway Workers hosted a festive event dedicated to the professional holiday of workers in the sphere.

Honorary industry representatives, engineers, and young employees were invited to the event.

This year, the Railway Workers Day of Uzbekistan practically coincides with the celebration of the 33rd anniversary of the Motherland’s independence and the 30th anniversary of the formation of JSC Uzbekistan Railways. Also, Railway Workers Day is associated with significant changes in the sphere.

At the event, the festive congratulations of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the workers of the country’s railway transport were read by the Presidential Press Secretary Sherzod Asadov.

In their speeches, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ochilboy Ramatov and Chairman of the Board of JSC Uzbekistan Railways Zufar Narzullayev discussed the tasks and promising projects facing railway workers.

The event included an award ceremony for employees working effectively in the sector for many years. The speakers expressed gratitude to the Head of state for the care and attention paid to developing the country’s railway transport sector.

A concert with the participation of artists and creative youth was held at the gala event.

After the concert, a film dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the formation of the JSC Uzbekistan Railways was shown.
