The Fergana branch of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center for Epidemiology, Microbiology, Infectious and Parasitic Diseases employs more than 300 doctors and paramedics.

To diagnose and provide qualified medical care to patients, the clinic has more than forty pieces of modern equipment at its disposal – digital X-rays, immunoenzyme diagnostic devices, ultrasound, biochemical, and microbiological analyzers.

Recently, a two-story medical building designed to treat AIDS patients was reconstructed entirely based on the “Open Budget” project. 1 billion 200 million UZS were spent for these purposes.

The branch has created all the conditions for the early detection of various diseases. In particular, in 2023, more than 900 patients with chronic hepatitis were examined here. A free screening examination of 75 thousand citizens over 18 years of age for viral hepatitis B and C was also carried out.
