Qanot Sharq launches regular flights to Istanbul

Qanot Sharq has launched regular passenger flights to Istanbul from two cities in Uzbekistan at once.

According to Uzbekistan Airports, an air service between Istanbul and Namangan has been launched since June 11. Flights are operated once a week on Tuesdays on Airbus 321. Also, starting on June 13, the airline will begin operating flights on the Karshi – Istanbul – Karshi route once a week on Thursdays. By the end of June, direct scheduled flights to the Turkish metropolis are already being operated from eight cities of Uzbekistan: Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Urgench, Nukus, Fergana, Namangan, and Karshi.

Qanot Sharq plans to launch flights from Karshi to Moscow and Saint Petersburg in the near future.
