Textbooks on computer science and information technologies for 5-11 graders published in Cambridge have been brought in Uzbekistan within the framework of the project on education implemented by the Ministry of Public Education, together with the USAID.

According to the Scientific Research Institute named after Abdulla Avloni, the textbooks have already been translated into Uzbek, and together with the U.S. Research Triangle Institute, it is planned to organize advanced training courses for teachers.

The leadership of the Institute met with the head of the project Sonia Arias to exchange views on an effective organization of courses, using methodologies based on training standards.

Improvement of the qualifications of English teachers and computer science will begin in September.
