Ambassador of Uzbekistan to France Sardor Rustambayev met with Director of the Agency of Presidential Educational Institutions Hilola Umarova to discuss issues of establishing cooperation between Presidential and specialized schools with French secondary special education institutions.

The head of the Agency briefed about the activities of the organization, the main educational programs of the Presidential schools. Information was provided on the work carried out on the implementation of international standards in the process of developing its national training program in specialized educational institutions.

Issues of teaching French as a second foreign language and attracting French teachers, as well as the direction of textbooks and literature were discussed at the meeting.

The issue of establishing cooperation with the National Institute for Training and Research for the Education of Young People with Disabilities and for Appropriate Teaching (INSHEA) for the organization of advanced training courses for teachers teaching children with disabilities to develop inclusive education in Uzbekistan was considered.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on establishing cooperation with the Alliance Francaise organization for the possible organization of a French-language classroom in specialized schools, short-term courses to improve the skills of teachers, as well as the publication of information in the French media about the establishment of Presidential and specialized schools.
