Uzbekistan’s cooperation with leading international educational and innovation centers is reaching a new level, contributing to the development of the country’s digital ecosystem.

The delegation from the Ministry of Digital Technologies, led by Minister Sherzod Shermatov, met with Shamil Ibragimov, a researcher at the MIT Kuo Sharper Center for Prosperity and Entrepreneurship. The Center provides entrepreneurs with unique opportunities to learn leadership and venture business.

Prospects for cooperation to strengthen Uzbekistan’s digital and innovation ecosystem were discussed. The parties focused on supporting innovation, developing entrepreneurial skills, and sharing experiences.

“Uzbekistan has achieved significant success in creating a dynamic digital economy”, said Sh. Ibragimov. “We are glad to have the opportunity to share our experience and explore the potential for further cooperation”.

The willingness to continue the dialogue to identify specific areas of joint work was emphasized.
