Prospects of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Poland in the agricultural sector discussed in Warsaw

Representatives of the Embassy of Uzbekistan met with the leadership of the National Support Centre for Agriculture of Poland.

At the meeting, the Polish side presented an overview of the center’s organizational structure and principal tasks and shared their experience in introducing and promoting Polish food products in international markets.

Particular attention was paid to trade and economic relations between Uzbekistan and Poland. It was noted that Uzbekistan is one of Poland’s most important trading partners in Central Asia. Mutually beneficial cooperation covers not only the agricultural sector, but also many other areas.

The parties discussed prospects for cooperation, including exchanging experience and technologies in the agro-industrial sector, participating in industry exhibitions of specialized organizations and entrepreneurs of the two countries, and organizing mutual business missions and economic forums for entrepreneurs.

The Polish side expressed its readiness for close cooperation in these areas, work on specific projects, expand economic cooperation, and strengthen trade ties between the two countries.
