Representatives of the Embassy of Uzbekistan held a virtual meeting with the leadership of the South Korean BOLD Co. Ltd.

During the talks, the parties discussed the prospects for cooperation in the supply of domestic silk products to the South Korean market.

The Korean side emphasized the high quality of silk products manufactured in Uzbekistan – from raw silk to finished silk products. He also noted that the silk products manufactured in Uzbekistan meet all the requirements and quality standards for the production of finished silk products, in particular the South Korean traditional hanbok clothing.

In this regard, BOLD plans to organize the supply of silk thread from Uzbekistan for further production of South Korean national clothes, as well as other silk products – scarves and ties. The South Korean side reported that the company is actively working to find reliable Uzbekistan partners to organize the supply of silk thread to the South Korean market for the production of finished silk clothing.

The parties also discussed the main requirements for the quality of raw materials, as well as the conditions for their delivery to the South Korean market.
