On March 8, the head of Uzbekistan Mission to the EU, Ambassador Dilyor Khakimov and the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Latvia and Finland Kadambay Sultanov held a virtual meeting with the Vice-President of the European Parliament Heidi Hautala.

The parties exchanged views on the current state and prospects of further development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the European Union.

Heidi Hautala expressed satisfaction with the dynamic development of relations between Uzbekistan and the European Union. The progress achieved within the framework of GSP+ was emphasized. The importance of the country’s fulfillment of its obligations under the international conventions ratified by it was emphasized.
