The Second Forum of Rectors of higher education institutions of Uzbekistan and Italy was held at the Roma Tre University in Rome.

Rector of Karakalpak State University B. Jollibekov and Vice Rector of the University for International Relations T. Nurimbetov have put forward initiatives to expand scientific and academic cooperation between the two countries.

The forum is significantly aimed at strengthening ties in higher education between Uzbekistan and Italy, developing joint educational programs, expanding academic exchange, and implementing scientific and innovative projects.

During the event, the heads of the leading universities of the two countries discussed improving the quality of education, commercializing scientific research, developing start-ups and innovation centers, and deepening integration with the European educational space.

The Second Forum held in Rome provided ample opportunities to strengthen reliable cooperation in the higher education system of the two countries, exchange experiences, and introduce advanced approaches.
