As part of the ICTWEEK UZBEKISTAN 2024, the Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov met with the CEO of Telekom of the Qatari holding Power International Holding Mikhail Gerchuk.

Information was presented on the work carried out in the IT sphere in Uzbekistan, as well as the conditions created for foreign companies.

Proposals for further development of the mobile communications sector of the telecommunications industry were also considered. Views were exchanged on enhancing cooperation in information technology.

At the same time, information was given on the country’s population’s level of high-speed Internet coverage and the work carried out in mobile communications.

In turn, the participants discussed the prospects for joint work in telecommunications, including promoting IT projects.
