The head of the Department for Cooperation with European Countries and European Union Institutions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Oybek Shakhavdinov, met with a representative of the Swedish company Capturant in Stockholm.

The parties discussed implementing a project for producing pure hydrogen and black carbon by processing exhaust gases from gas turbines of oil, gas, and chemical industry enterprises in Uzbekistan using methane pyrolysis technology.

As a result of the introduction of this technology in Uzbekistan, it will be possible to create additional value from waste gases and reduce gas emissions.

It was decided to continue further negotiations during the visit of the delegation of the Swedish company to Uzbekistan.
