The Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis Nuriddin Ismoilov met with members of the delegation led by the Chairman of the Senate of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Wahab Abdel Razeq.

The Chairman of the Egyptian Senate, noting the open and constructive foreign policy pursued by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in recent years, large-scale reforms, and their results, emphasized the advisability of further enhancing and strengthening inter-parliamentary cooperation and intensifying dialogue in this direction.

The parties also discussed the incredible opportunities available for bringing bilateral relations to a higher level, expanding business and entrepreneurial ties, intensifying mutual investments and increasing the scale of trade, accelerating work in the tourism and cultural sphere, and the need to use them.

Following the dialogue, the parties agreed to determine the prospects for inter-parliamentary cooperation between Uzbekistan and Egypt and continue practical interaction.
