The Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Latvia, Kadamboy Sultanov, met with the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of BMB Trade Group, Bekzod Mamatkulov.
The parties discussed the prospects for interaction between the Embassy and BMB Trade Group in promoting the company’s products in the Baltic countries.
It was emphasized that Latvia is a traditional hub for Uzbekistan in exporting goods to Europe, thanks to convenient and functional logistics. The presence of transportation of goods by land, rail and air was emphasized.
The Ambassador confirmed his readiness for all-round support and informed about the possibilities of the newly created Trade House “Uzbekistan” in the city of Riga.
Bekzod Mamatkulov proposed using, with the assistance of the diplomatic mission, the capabilities of large Latvian companies in promoting the agricultural products of BMB Trade Group, including saffron, by searching for partners specializing in pharmaceuticals and perfumery.
An agreement was reached on intensifying practical measures to promote BMB Trade Group’s products to the market of the Baltic countries.
