Ambassador of Uzbekistan Oybek Shakhavdinov met with the CEO of Hungary’s Proko Travel, István Gál.

The Hungarian side highly appreciated the active development of relations with Uzbekistan, especially in expanding cooperation in tourism. István Gál emphasized the importance of this growth for strengthening interstate ties and stimulating the economic development of both countries.

The head of Proko Travel noted that the resumption of flights on the Tashkent-Budapest-Tashkent route from June 30 was an important step and a powerful incentive for a significant increase in the number of tourists traveling from Hungary to Uzbekistan.

The parties discussed plans to organize several joint events in the tourism sector to attract more tourists from Hungary to Uzbekistan.
