The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Tokyo hosted a meeting with the Special Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan for Central Asia Shuichi Tokuda to discuss the state and prospects of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Japan.

The parties exchanged views on further expansion of the strategic partnership between the two countries.

An agreement was reached on the joint elaboration of joint measures to enhance political, trade, economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
