Prospects for enhancing collaboration between Uzbekistan and India discussed

Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade J. Khodjayev met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India Manish Prabhat.

The parties discussed the course of the current trade, economic and investment cooperation between the two countries.

During the conversation, favorable conditions were noted for deepening bilateral partnership and expanding direct contacts at all levels.

The Uzbek side shared plans on holding talks with Indian partners to intensify cooperation in healthcare and pharmaceuticals, agriculture, veterinary medicine and animal husbandry. In addition, the prospects for the development of transport corridors connecting the two countries were considered.

Following the talks, further steps were defined to deepen the partnership and implement the agreements reached.
