A trade and economic forum dedicated to the Belt and Road program was held in Yiwu city, Zhejiang, China.

The event, organized by China’s Ambassador’s House and the Yiwu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, was attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps of Beijing and Shanghai and about 50 different companies of Zhejiang Province.

The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Shanghai held a presentation on the country’s export potential and tourism opportunities.

The participants were informed about the opportunities and benefits created in Uzbekistan for foreign entrepreneurs and achievements in investment cooperation and trade.

At the event, opportunities to further develop cooperation between companies of Zhejiang Province and businesspeople of Uzbekistan were discussed.
