It was attended by representatives of various ministries and agencies, organizations and companies of the two countries.

Cooperation between Uzbekistan and Switzerland is consistently developing in such areas as mechanical engineering, agriculture, textile industry, pharmaceuticals, and others. At present, the rapid transformations taking place in the country are expanding the scale of relations and demanding to raise them to a new level, to use the available opportunities wisely and effectively. This is especially relevant in areas such as medicine, professional education, tourism, training and advanced training of personnel, academic exchange.

At the meeting, memorandums of cooperation were signed between Uzbekistan and a number of ministries, agencies of Switzerland.

Members of the Swiss delegation also held negotiations at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan.
