Hokim of Kagan district, Otabek Kazokov, and a group of foreign investors, including representatives of South Korean companies Hyundai Solar Energy and Seonjinhitech, discussed prospective projects in green energy, as well as the development and construction of renewable energy sources in the district.

The Korean side highlighted that the ongoing reforms in Uzbekistan’s renewable energy sector, the expansion of public-private partnerships, and the growth of healthy competition are attracting investors. 

The parties expressed confidence that joint projects will serve as an essential step in the further economic development of Kagan district. 

The guests also visited facilities under construction in Gijduvan Free Economic Zone, located in Zirabad area.
