Tashkent hosted promotional campaign “Support domestic manufacturer!”, organized by “Uztuqimachiliksanoat” (Uzbekistan Textile Industry) Association.
The event was attended by the leadership of the Association, specialists of textile industry, heads and teachers of Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry, representatives of textile, sewing and knitting industry, foreign companies and the mass media.
The main goal of this event is to increase the population’s interest in modern ready-made textile and sewing-knitted products produced in the country, as well as popularization of “Uztextile” unified marking.
The event was also attended by famous manufacturers of finished textile products, domestic designers, textile enterprises such as Uztex Group, Buka, Samo, Bonito, Ideal, Fratelli Casa and others. In addition, an exhibition-fair of finished textile products was organized, over 20 enterprises presented their products.

As reported by the Press Service of “Uztuqimachiliksanoat” Association, in order to support domestic producers of textile products, encourage and expand their activities in domestic and foreign markets, winners of the “Best exporter”, “Best employer”, “Most active enterprise”, “People’s choice”, “Best investor”, “Best innovative enterprise” nominations were announced.
